Who hasn’t tried whipping egg whites for a cake, only to have it collapse and lose its volume all of the sudden? That’s how proteins work: you let them be just for a while and their structure falls apart. Sadly, this is also true for proteins inside our body, namely collagen in our skin: the moment you stop supporting its renewal, it begins to break.

What can you do? First of all, use a good cleanser, not just any soap you happened to find next to the sink. Invest in a good face wash appropriate for your skin type, and wash thoroughly every morning and evening. The next step is a good serum. There are many anti-aging products, and they also have to match your skin type – dry, oily, or in between.
